Testimonials

Since we enrolled our child in martial arts less than 2 yrs. ago, we have noticed a dramatic change in him both physically and mentally.  He lost over 15 pounds, boosted his energy, and maintained his weight off.  Not only did he learn the importance of self-defense, but he also gained so much self-confidence and discipline.  At the same token, he is having so much fun!  These traits attributed to Mr. Le and the other professional instructors at Viet Le’s World Karate School for their endless mentoring, patience and support.  Thank you for making a positive impact on our son’s life.  More Power to your school!

We would like to thank you for everything you and your family have done for our family.  Our children, Ryan and Lauren, have learned so much under your expert guidance, instruction, and example, and you’ve welcomed all of us into your family.

Ryan has become more disciplined and focused in many aspects of his life as a result of his training at World Karate.  We’ve watched him grow to be more agile, flexible and strong, both in body and spirit.  His confidence and respect often prompt people we don’t even know to compliment us on our “excellent young man.”

We want to extend a special note of thanks for what you’ve helped Lauren accomplish.  Given the challenges she faces as a child with Cerebral Palsy and Asperger’s Syndrome, we realize she can’t easily compete with mainstream students to become a polished karate student.  But you and our family have taken Lauren under your wing.  All of you have taken extra time to work with her on her forms and you’ve shown compassion in the face of her physical and emotional challenges.  You’ve been flexible with the schedule and encouraged her to keep working and to focus on her strengths.  The smile on her face when she earned her green belt (each of her belts, actually) was one to remember for the rest of our lives.

Lauren’s balance, flexibility, strength and confidence have improved tremendously since she’s been coming to your school.  Her doctors and therapists have encouraged us to continue to keep her active, saying they recommend karate training as one of the best ways to do so.  Just to give you and example of the benefits of your training, when Lauren first began physical therapy, she wasn’t able to balance very well on one foot, but the therapist had to have her hop on one foot while standing on a trampoline just to challenge her!

Thank you, again, for your professional training and for providing a safe, fun, and family-oriented environment in which our children can learn, laugh, and play.

Wonderful family establishment:  We are a military family, obviously moving a lot.  Word of mouth from our neighborhood is how we found out about The Le’s and the Karate school.  We have been so pleased at the level of professionalism, care, effort, and discipline our children receive.  You name it, the Le’s do it the right way!  We could not be MORE pleased.

I can't put into words what World Karate has given to our son. Mr. and Mrs. Le, their instruction, encouragement, discipline and guidance have been a huge part of his life.

First of all, anyone investigating in a Karate school would learn quickly of how the training at Viet Le's World Karate rivels any top school in the country. Take of look at the technique of their students - and not just an elite few. While the school can boast some incredible champions, every student at World Karate is well trained.

In addition, I have found that Mr. and Mrs. Le offer so much more to their students than Martial Arts training. They have an incredible ability to motivate their students. Their genuine support for the entire person is like having a life coach or counselor. A paper which hangs in a Middle School classroom says it wall with the reply to "Who has been most influential in your life?" - the answer states "Mr. Le".

My daughter started at Viet Le's World Karate 6 months ago and she absolutely loves it. This is a family-run operation that stresses respect for yourself, respect for others, and respect for the sport. My daughter enjoys the camaraderie and friendships with her fellow students. Mr. Le, as well as all the instructors, are only focused on helping each individual be the best martial artist he/she can be through expert instruction and positive reinforcement, not fear and intimidation. You don't have to be the greatest athlete, but they do demand 100% effort and a positive attitude. As a parent, I expect the same from my daughter. This is not only an investment in the sport, but an investment in self-confidence, pride, dedication, health, commitment, and hard work which my daughter can experience outside of our home.

I wanted to take this opportunity to express the appreciation of me and my son Dean for the opportunity to study at your dojang.

Since we began in January 2006, we have progressed in belt rank and become decidedly more physically fit.  The structure of your programs have been especially helpful to me to ‘keep on track’ with my participation.

The friendliness and supportive attitude at your school is another reason we enjoy training with you.  This undoubtedly is a result of the leadership you provide, along with the excellent support of Mrs. Le.  In addition, all of the instructors who lead classes reflect your ability to combine professional instruction with personal attention.  Your recognition of individuals’ personal strengths and weaknesses benefits each of us.  For those who instruct, the opportunity benefits both the students and those instructing.  “Qui docet, dicet” – Those who teach, learn.

Dean and I look forward to continuing our progress and, hopefully, attaining our Black Belts.

The Mount Eagle PTA would like to express our deep appreciation to you and World Karate for your generous donation to our school.  The “free month” of lessons to World Karate was a terrific way of introducing our families to you and your organization.  I was pleased with the initial interest and have heard nothing but positive feedback from those students who chose to partake in the “fundraiser.”  We value the relationship that has come from this endeavor and look forward to future ventures with you.  I would be pleased to share our good experience with other schools who may be considering the same type of program.

On behalf of the Washington Mill Elementary School faculty, staff, and PTA, we would like to thank you for your generous donation of a one-month membership towards our raffle during the Italian Night Dinner on February 10, 2006.  We are honored to have you as a part of our community, and hope that you feel proud to be an integral part of this heroic effort to help one of our sixth grade students who is battling leukemia.  Thank you again for your generosity.
